Monarda citriodora, also known as Lemon Beebalm or Lemon Mint, is an aromatic herbaceous plant with whorls of showy purple to pink flowers on tall, branching stems. Growing up to 60–90 cm (24–36 inches) in height, it is ideal for wildflower gardens, herb gardens, or as a pollinator-friendly plant for borders. Preferring full sun but tolerating light shade, it thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. This drought-tolerant plant needs occasional watering once established. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
